Fixing ASP .NET Menu bug on Safari and Chrome browsers

If you are using the ASP .NET dynamic hover menu, it will not render correctly when you are using Safari or Chrome. It will only display the text “Expand” next to the menu. The easy solution to fix this problem is to add a browser file in the App_Browsers folder. Right click on the App_Browser folder and create new browser file. Insert the following xml codes within the <browsers> tags:

<browser refID="Safari">
   <controlAdapters>
      <adapter controlType="System.Web.UI.WebControls.Menu" adapterType="" />
   </controlAdapters>
</browser>

This will fix the rendering problem for Safari and Chrome.

Another year of E3 is here!

This year E3 is going to be very interesting. With Microsoft announcing its new motion sensor add-on Kinect (previously code-named Project Natal) for xbox360. I am interested to see more what Kinect can do and more titles supporting it. Hopefully Microsoft will also update the XNA framework for Kinect support. For Nintendo, I am looking forward at the announcement of the new handheld Nintendo 3DS.
